Little Rock AR

Hudson and Daddy @ Sully's Father/Child Mini Golf Tourny. It was very hot out, even though it was only 9am, but Hudson did great. He tried hitting the ball, putting it really close to the hole instead of where he should have tee'd off. Every time Jason would putt, Hudson would retrieve his ball and bring it back to him! But he did play over 9holes. He slept on the way back to Hot Springs.

April and I thought we should get Hudson and Paul together for a photo. I don't think they're pleased with their mommies or each other!

Ok. So Paul didn't mean to hit Hudson, but Hudson thought he should hit him back! He kept saying "Don't hit me!"

Hudson & his papaw Gerald. We had a baby shower in DeQueen over the weekend and Hudson spent the night at my dads. When my dad came to pick him up from the shower Hudson hovered by my leg and said with a sheepish smile, 'he's a farmer, he's a farmer!!' The shower was wonderful, hosted by my best friends: Tabby Stephens, Renae Prinsen, & Brandi Smith. It was held as a luncheon at Papa Pablano's Mexican Restaurant. My aunts Sue Sullivan, Sandy Sullivan, Claudette Youngblood, and Joyce Coffman attended, as did my sister Lacy and cousin Gayla Morphew. Bethany Harrison also came.

May 2010: Zoo, Our 6th Anniversary, LR Baby Shower, and time at home

What can I say, the kid has style. Featuring, camera bag by mommy, rubber cow boot and daddy's dress shoes, both on the wrong feet! Love it! The funniest part was the sound of him clomping down the stairs.

Daddy making elephant sounds as he puts on Hudson's 'elephant jammies'. All of our jammies are themed, otherwise they're no good!! His favorites as of late are Batman, Curious George, and of course these.

My cousin April Wurtz hosted my first baby shower in Little Rock @ Vieux Carre. She brought along little Paul and my aunt Janie, and we had wonderful live music as well. Sweet little basket with tons of cute baby stuff from my sister-in-law, Sally Risner.

For our 6th Anniversary we spent the weekend at my mom and Pat's condo in Little Rock. Here is a photo of my sweet, sexy husband. I love you baby.

Since we have a Little Rock Zoo Membership now, we decided to take advantage of a mild-weathered Wednesday morning on route to my Dr's appointment. Hudson with his 'elephant juice' and standard lunch (chicken and fries!) with his nana.

Easter 2010

For Easter we went to church at 1st United Methodist in Hot Springs. We attempted to leave Hudson in the nursery, all of the babies were crying and sick and we just couldn't leave him, so we took him into the service with us. He 1st colored on the scratch paper and then wadded up the bulletin and threw it into the pew in front of us, then during the 1st prayer he kept saying "dad, dad, hey dad." Louder throughout the whole prayer. He was quiet during the songs, fell asleep and didn't wake up until the end of the service. Afterwards we went over to my mom and Pat's with Lacy for lunch. We had awesome steak and chicken kabobs, and then went down to their pond to feed the fish.
